Mr. Kevin Kujawa supervises the Chemistry Electronic Shop. Services include:
The Shop also prides itself on its tradition of service to the UB community. Besides Chemistry we also support a wide array of activities in the Departments of Biological Sciences, Geology, and Physics.
- Repair of almost any experimental/laboratory instrument
- Analog and digital design
- RF design
- Fabrication and packaging
- Computer-based data acquisition
Mr. Jim Walker is responsible for the following maintaining and repairing the following items/systems:
- All RF equipment (plasma chambers/generators)
- Lasers
- High voltage equipment
- Mini-computers and PCs
- Departmental phone system
Mr. John Henderson is involved in the maintenance and upgrading of departmental electronic equipment including major analytical instruments, personal computers, teaching equipment, and analog test and measurement devices. When the need arises, he also designs and fabricates new electronic instrumentation based upon a user’s unique specifications.
