Professor Beachley retired in 2002. Professor Beachley’s research focused on the chemistry of organometallic main-group compounds and materials. Research was directed toward the preparation and characterization of interesting but important new compounds for developing novel electronic materials. Professor Beachley is the winner of the 1975 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
